What I really appreciated was how Marisa took the time to learn what we wanted in our home, especially our love for the outdoors. She found cool ways to bring that into the design—like the wallpaper, the way she displayed our collections, and little touches that give a nod to fly fishing and nature, but never in an over-the-top or performative way.
One of the things that stood out most was how she mixed in new stuff with our old, meaningful pieces. She worked my grandparent’s dining table and chandelier into the new design, so they fit perfectly and still had all of their history. That made everything feel unique and real, not like some cookie-cutter setup.
The whole process was incredibly smooth. Marisa handled all the details and really respected the old house’s character. Whether I’m having people over for dinner, or just hanging out with my son, I really enjoy being at home. It feels comfortable and like us, and also shows well. Honestly, bringing Marisa on board was one of the best things I’ve done for our house and our everyday lives.”
